Ciprofloxacin Eye Drops IP is a medicine that fights bacteria. It helps ease the infection by stopping the germs that cause it from growing.
Use Ciprofloxacin Eye Drops IP as your doctor tells you, both in how much to use and how long to use it. You can take it with food or on an empty stomach, but it’s best to take it at the same time each day. Don’t miss any doses and make sure to complete all your medicine, even if you start feeling better. Don’t take two doses at once if you forget one.
How to Use?
- Look at the dropper tip to see if it is not broken or has any chips.
- Don’t let the dropper tip touch your eye or anything else. Keep eye drops and droppers clean.
- Tilt your head back and use your index finger to pull down the bottom part of your eye to create a pocket.
- Hold the dropper with the tip facing down, using your other hand. Keep it close to your eye, but don’t touch it.
- Press the other fingers of that hand against your face.
- While looking up, lightly squeeze the dropper to let one drop fall into the pocket created by your lower eyelid.
- Close your eyes for 2 to 3 minutes and lean your head forward like you’re looking at the floor. Try not to blink or close your eyes tightly.
- Put your finger on the tear duct and press gently.
- If you need to use more than one drop in the same eye, wait at least 5 minutes before putting in the next drop.
- Take off the cap from the dropper bottle and screw it back on tight.
